Originally form Clitheroe in Lancashire, Jane has lived on the black isle for 15 years.  Jane has a background in teaching and was Head Teacher at Resolis Primary School for 11 years.  She is also a volunteer at the Cromarty Community Cinema.  She has two boys in their 20's and is a member of the Cromba Rowing Club.
